I worked at Pearson as a contract worker making changes to college textbooks in a fast paced pdf workflow. I enjoyed working there and found the pdf workflow experience interesting. We edited textbooks directly in pdf format using software called Pitstop.
When I was there it was a great place to work.

At the time I was at Pearson it was a great place to work. Things have changed so I really don't know how the place is now. It seems like a lot of places are going through something so just do what is best for you...

I've enjoyed working with Pearson VUE thus far, since it has offered support to the candidates working toward certification for their respective professions or careers. It's not a job, though, that I'd recommend to someone seeking a stable schedule or salary. I would definitely not recommend relying upon this job as a sole source or income, or if you are supporting someone other than yourself.
Ability to choose hours/days of availability
No guarantee of weekly hours, low pay

Good experience. It was something different from what i'm used to working. People of all ages and everyone is very nice and friendly. Male workers act like perverts sometimes just have to watch out for those.
